Jakub Grysiewicz-Loeppky in Grade 7 French Immersion has won this year’s Young Authors Awards/Prix Jeunes Écrivains for his opinion text, “Est-il bon de conduire des voitures électriques?” in the French Grades 7-8 Nonfiction category at the provincial level. Students from FDK to Grade 8 participated in JungleSport the week of April 11. Students had the opportunity to discover, explore, and challenge themselves in a variety of ways including the low ropes obstacle course, using rocks walls and rope ladders, and climbing, swinging, leaping and flipping their way through the challenge by choice climbing activities.
